Founder & Fractional CFO
Chen Strategic Finance
Advising venture-backed teams on fundraising, board governance, reporting cadence, and cash discipline across 32 companies.
Fractional CFO & Board Advisory.
Bridging the financial gap between Seed and Series B with institutional-grade discipline.
Get CFO-level expertise without CFO-level costs. I bring 15+ years of finance leadership to startups and growing companies.
Access strategic finance leadership at a fraction of the cost of a full-time CFO. Ideal for Series A to B.
Start seeing results from day one. No learning curve. I deploy proven financial frameworks immediately.
Professional financial reporting, forecasting, and board presentations that meet investor-grade standards.
"I help founders build financial foundations that support sustainable growth without sacrificing control."
After spending my early career at Deloitte and Goldman Sachs, I joined a Series A SaaS startup as their first CFO in 2015. We scaled from $3M to $45M ARR in three years and exited to a strategic acquirer. That's when I realized my calling: helping multiple companies navigate the same journey simultaneously.
Since 2018, I've worked with 32 companies as a fractional CFO, from seed-stage startups to growth companies preparing for IPO. I've helped raise over $150M in venture capital, implemented financial systems for scaling, and prepared dozens of board decks that actually tell the right story.
Built across operating finance, advisory, and capital markets to support founders through every growth inflection point.
